Highlights in New York, London and Sydney

New York Introducing a burst of colour to an otherwise dreary thoroughfare, The Roses is a unique installation on Park Avenue by the larger-than-life urban sculptor Will Ryman. The work features 38 blossom sculptures – bugs included – towering 25 feet high, scattered between 57th and 67th Streets. The blossoms are on display throughout May 2011 and will signify the much-anticipated start of the blooming season in the Big Apple. London Travel back in time with the exhibition of London Street Photography at the Museum of London. The showcase includes a collection of street photography from 1860 through to the 21st century. Observe the transition from black and white to colour, as well as the evolution of London and its people throughout the ages. The show runs from 18 February to 4 September 2011. Sydney Calling all those interested in renovating or improving their home. The HIA Sydney Home Show, held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre at the Darling Harbour, is a great source for inspiration. You’ll find all the latest building and décor trends, including a range of building solutions for every room in your home. Building professionals will also be available if you need tips or advice. Feel free to pop in between 19 – 22 May 2011. Kim Grové
