However, its classic exterior belies an enchanting interior. For this is a house filled with antiques, exotic items sourced from all corners of the globe, colourful contemporary furniture, uplifting art, lots of light and a happy spirit. Architect Johann Slee, says owner Mariette Theron, had an amazing vision for the house – giving it a much-needed update while preserving its soul.
