Ask any serious foodie about their ideal kitchen and chances are that Le Creuset
will feature somewhere. The brand has become synonymous with elegant cooking, designing products that are as much statement pieces as they are kitchen essentials. Now, they're branching out with a new range that's considerably different from their previous offerings to date.
With metropolitan living serving as inspiration, Le Creuset's latest collection of cookware and accessories, Taste of the City, is understated, modern and sophisticated. It refreshes classic favourites but also includes several new additions such as stoneware bowls, egg cups and stoneware vases as well as flint-textile and silicone accessories. The pared-down palette includes Cotton, Mist Grey and Black, which combine beautifully to reflect modern urban cityscapes.
Le Creuset has also introduced a gorgeous new hue, Ocean, to its family, which forms part of Taste of the City. The modern, moody hue is perfectly suited to the classic designs that we have come to know and love and draws inspiration from the calming green, blue and grey tones of the sea. All of your favourite pots and pans, including the signature round casserole, buffet casserole and square skillet grill, will be available in the Ocean colourway in stores at the end of August.

A departure from Le Creuset's typically bright colours, Bi-Ply cookware adds a new level of sophistication to the kitchen.
The muted, monochrome tones can be combined with stronger colours from the Taste of the City palette.
The Bi-Ply cookware cookware is undeniably chic. In a nod to the metallic trend, here it's rounded off with a new copper knob, which is also available in stainless steel.
The various colours within the Taste of the City range complement one another effortlessly, making them ideal to mix and match.
The versatile new palette is at once modern and nostalgic.
