Quatermain Faircity Hotel is hosting a picnic for Heritage Day, serving up a wide selection of traditional South African foods such as boerewors, chicken satays, pepperdews stuffed with feta and more. A picnic platter menu will be available at the event.
While away the day at the hotel's gardens, where the main food station will be accompanied by an old-school South African sweet bar where you'll be able to savour old-school classic sweet treats including Chappies, marshmallow mice and more.

African-Italian Art Lunch for Heritage Day
Café del Sol, located at the Bryanston Shopping Centre, is hosting a unique experience to celeberate Heritage Day. Luyanda Mafanya, a semi fianlist on My Kitchen Rules will be serving up her African-Italian inspired heritage day menu, allowing guests to savour a unique mix of flavours in the private dining room.
The event will also include a creative twist: the 'Creative Curations Art of Dining' will be showcased and aims to widen attendees' knowledge of contemporary and uncoventional art. Braai & Beer on Heritage Day
Celebrate Heritage Day the traditional way with a range of braaied meats and a beer at the Thaba Eco Hotel & Spa in Glenvista.
