You might have spotted Durban-based, Wendy-Lee Douglas in our June issue. We explored this Durban creative's unique home in our Trends Style Scoop. Wendy spends her days as an interior designer and has her own furniture and children’s range. She also works on a myriad of interesting projects including the Miss+Meisie pop-up shops. Her latest concept is aimed at breaking down the stereotypes that surround interior designers and their work. By offering her space styling sessions, she is creating a better understanding of the range of services that she can offer within various price ranges. The concept is broken down into four sections – consult, conceptualise, create and curate - and it starts off with a free introductory session. Clients have a refreshed vision of how Wendy can assist them and the sessions highlight the process and offer understanding. Many homes already have a good collection of furniture, but with a few updates, spaces can be transformed. Wendy offers all the tools needed for a renewed living space - with your budget in mind. Contact Wendy on wendy@ilovebokkie.co.za to book your session or read her blog for home and décor inspiration or to see her creative projects. Text Nadia van der Mescht
