Win a Home, the interior design and decor reality competition, is back for another season. This time around, the show is shaking things up a bit. Rather than individuals, there are teams of two competing for the top spot, each led by mentors who are experts in the field.
With the help of their mentors, the design duos are tasked with designing dream living spaces. By the end of the 17-week series, one team will walk away with the coveted Judges’ Choice cash prize of R100 000. Each week, you’ll see the three teams conceptualise and transform homes located in Eye of Africa luxury golf estate, just south of Johannesburg.
House and Leisure editor Tiaan Nagel is one of the mentors. ‘It’s exciting to be part of a platform that encourages creativity,’ says Tiaan, ‘and to be a part of a team that nurtures young talent.’
Over the course of Win a Home, he will be mentoring Tshepo Sealetsa and Banele Khoza of Team House and Leisure. The duo have been friends for years, and have come to understand one another’s strengths and weaknesses while maintaining strong communication in all they do. It is this, they say, that will make them strong contenders in the competition. With their strong personal aesthetics and already impressive track record, we’re sure these two talented creatives will stun us over the next few months.
And if that’s not enough reason to tune into the show, by the end of the series, one viewer will win a home valued at R3 million. So tune in, be inspired and keep an eye out for that fabulous prize.
