Durban’s Wendy Douglas is no stranger to the design world. Between her ilovebokkie range and her Sketchbok/Dbn designs she is always producing relevant items for contemporary living. Her latest design is perfectly suited to small spaces, while offering a supremely chic product that’s ideal for modern interiors. The Drummin Stool takes its inspiration from the geometric lines of traditional Zulu drums. The framework is created from mild steel with a sprayed finish. The stool offers extra seating, or a neat and practical decor update as the fabric and colours are customisable. What makes this beautifully designed creation so practical is its measurements. At 460mm high; the stool can be tucked away or even used as a foot rest. The Drummin Stool is available from Sketchbok/Dbn – contact Wendy to order or to find out more. It retails for R2 350 and there is also a Drummin table available. Fabric pictured is from the Rough Diamond Collection from Skinny Laminx.
