Pierre Cronje 25th Anniversary Sale

Pierre Cronje is inviting fans of unique designer furniture to his Lansdowne factory to celebrate 25 years in business. To show his gratitude and pay tribute to his appreciative clientele and true South African craftsmen, he is offering furniture pieces at reduced prices of up to 60% less. His unique and stylish creations pay homage to history, by capturing South African furniture tradition but renewing it with a contemporary flair; like the traditional leather-thonged riempie benches which are made over into black loft benches with red webbing, to suit any chic city apartment. Custom-made furniture is fast becoming favoured among the younger groups, who see it as an outward display of their sophisticated and discerning lifestyles. To appeal to these younger tastes and pockets, the 'Simply Pierre' range was created. Neil Stemmet of Koncept Design says that although Pierre’s furniture is undeniably authentic and unique in each design, 'it also breathes the human element, from the sourcing of materials, to the measurement, design and crafting'. He continues to say that 'to own a Pierre Cronje piece is to own something that celebrates conception and the people who birthed and fashioned it. It truly encapsulates the South African spirit.' The factory will be open on Friday, 19 October 2012 (09h30 - 18h00) and Saturday, 20 October 2012 (08h30 – 14h00) at 9 Induland Avenue in Lansdowne, Cape Town. This is an opportunity to meet the faces behind the Pierre Cronje furniture brand, as well as to catch a glimpse of where 'dreams have been fulfilled during the last 25 years', as described by the master himself, Pierre Cronje.
