Twice a year House and Leisure heads off to Paris‘ biannual design show, MAISON&OBJET, to bring you the latest in decor and design trends from around the world. Our editor, Naomi Larkin, is starting off 2013 with a flood of inspiration as she flies to the French capital and spends 18-22 January browsing the Fair and viewing the latest collections of the biggest names in the industry. With more than 3 000 exhibitors, MAISON&OBJET is a visual feast for trend hunters like ourselves, and as well as bringing the top design names all under one roof, the Fair also prides itself in unveiling new talent. If you’re lucky enough to be attending the January 2013 edition of MAISON&OBJET, be sure to stop by these top sections:
- éditeurs, where you’ll be treated to the latest in upholstery textiles
- scènes d’intérieur, which promises a decadent dose of luxurious living
- now! design à vivre, which will showcase top design pieces and avant-garde furniture.
If you can’t make it yourself, keep an eye out for Naomi’s report back in House and Leisure magazine. For more info on MAISON&OBJET or to order your badge, visit maison-objet.com
