We’re thrilled by the news that Skinny laMinx has released new fabric prints; she never disappoints with her eye for detail, quirky motifs and novel designs. For those of you who haven’t yet experienced her wonderful work, Heather Moore – Capetonian designer and illustrator extraordinaire – is the lady behind the well-known label. Her eye-catching new Skinny laMinx 2011/12 collection takes its inspiration from nature, seemingly from her veggie patch in particular, from which she’s stolen the pebble grey, loam and terracotta hues and translated the leafy prints onto all sorts of homeware goodies. We’d love to create a themed kitchen with her must-have Leafy Green & Rhubarb tea towels and Mushroom aprons. The Succulents range is just as cute, and is available either as tea towels or cushion covers. The items are priced as follows: tea towels at R105 each, aprons at R285 each, tablecloths at R555 each, and 50 x 50cm cushion covers at R250 each. You can find them in the Skinny laMinx online shop, along with some exciting new creations from her baby range dubbed ‘Mini laMinx‘ and her paper goods range too.
