If you’re looking for an innovative way to display your photographs, Phresh design at The Caboodle in Glenwood may have the solution. Brandon Brett has mounted wooden frames onto vintage racquets, creating a unique way to display your pictures. You can fasten your favourite photos to the strings of the racquet by a metal peg – but we’re willing to bet you may not want to replace the lovely phrases they have included as the demo pic. The racquets are all old-fashioned wooden finds which wouldn’t look out of place in an English boarding school or old Colonial mansion. They’re ideal for a gentleman’s study, a traditional office space or a boy’s bedroom. Mount them on the wall, lean them against a wardrobe or have them standing in a vintage umbrella stand for some real impact. There are other treasures to be found at The Caboodle, such as Freshly Found’s repurposed and recycled items such as vases made out of records and the beautiful range of hand-carved wooden objects ranging from hearts to ducks also created by Phresh. Also be on the lookout for the clothing ranges by Dear Heart and Champagne Hippie. The co-op is worth a visit simply to see the ceiling covered in white paper lanterns which diffuse the light and give off a soft glow. The Caboodle is at 106 Bulwer Road, Glenwood.
