#hldiscovery: cocktails, curry and home-away-from-home

#hldiscovery Causes and comfort are order of the day in this weeks #HLDiscovery list. We explore one of the newest @home stores, learn about a new food delivery service and see how Outrage of Modesty is exploring new flavours whilst simultaneously doing some good for the community.

1. oom cocktails for a cause 

#hldiscovery Hidden speakeasy Outrage of Modesty (OoM) is committed to social change. This winter they are dedicating their winter menu to creating awareness and delivering support to women who suffer from gender-based violence. They’ve partnered up with Tree of Life Church in Manenberg and will donate 5% of their profits to their Basila Project, a safe home for teenage girls. Their autumn/winter menu offers a selection of cocktails concocted using regionally produced spirits, including Hope on Hopkins, Copeland, Musgrave Gin and Bains Whisky.

2. @home living space new store

#hldiscovery With a sign almost 27 metres in size, you wont miss the newest @home store, located in Somerset West. The store is beautifully designed with carefully curated displays that show off the latest range of furniture, appliances, bedding and much more. It has a warm homely atmosphere, so it feels like a visit rather than a chore.

3. curry club delivers to your door

#hldiscovery Craving a curry? Satisfy it without even leaving the house. Curry Club is a new Cape Town-based company that delivers delicious North Indian dishes straight to your door. Order butter chicken, lamb vindaloo, creamy paneer and an array of Indian snacks and sides.
