Viva Flamenco In celebration of an impressive 35 year legacy, the Linda Vargas Flamenco Dance Company promises to thrill audiences with a special gala season called Viva Flamenco. The Diamond Show  New Midlands-based theatre company, the Upstagers Dramatic Club, are performing Agatha Christie's The Diamond Show as their inaugural production at  Schlesinger Theatre, Michaelhouse. The company features a mix of professional and amateur actors who are all passionate about ongoing classic and nostalgic theatrical entertainment. Curry and Comedy Enjoy a buffet featuring the mouth-watering curry from Oyster Box along with laugh-out-loud comedy at their Curry and Comedy night. Shongweni Farmers and Craft Market The early bird catches the worm at the Shongweni Farmers and Craft Market, one of the most popular markets in Durban. It opens at 6.30am, and you can get incredibly fresh produce, delicious foods and handmade crafts. Kiddies Photo Walk During the school holidays, take your children to the Joburg Zoo for a fun Kiddies Photo Walk. The event is created for children aspiring in photography and tailored to their interests, skills and attention spans. Guides show the children a variety of angles, colours, lighting and compositions in child-friendly language and interaction. 2018 FADA Alumni Exhibition This year’s UJ Alumni Exhibition honours Doctor Carol Hofmeyr, the founder of the Keiskamma Art Project Trust. The Trust is a community organisation, based in Hamburg, a rural area in the Eastern Cape, which works to foster hope and offer support for the most vulnerable. The Trust strives to address the challenges of widespread poverty and disease through holistic and creative programmes and partnerships. Jive Cape Town Funny Festival The Baxter Theatre hosts the 14th annual Jive Cape Town Funny Festival that sees top local and international comedians perform a variety of acts on the same stage. This year's line up features Alan Committie, Marc Lottering, Rob van Vuuren, Siv Ngesi, Garaghty, Garaghty and Thom and Gerry Connolly.
