Happiness Is... Stationery
Posted: 19 November 2012
Fathima Kathrada is an illustrator and designer based in Durban, whose kooky stationery range is causing a stir. Happiness.Is. sees her girly illustrations come to life, with designs inspired by nature and simple objects found in our daily lives. Delicate lines, handwritten elements and a soft mix of pastel watercolours give her work a fresh and personal appeal. Fathima’s creative process begins with sketches and drafts and results in a range of prototypes, which are then digitally refined, before being printed on high-quality paper in the form of greeting cards and note cards, or even A3 paper. In our email-driven world nothing quite beats the feel of a hand-written letter, and Fathima's range only encourages us to put pen to paper. Happiness.Is. stationery is available through Fathima’s Etsy shop or Hello Pretty. For more information, visit happinessisat.blogspot.com or email email@example.com.
