A Tour Through France

For 10 weeks, Societi Bistro’s chef Stefan Marais will be taking us on yet another delicious journey through the café’s, countryside kitchens and coastal towns of France. Every week, you’ll be treated to a special menu that honours a specific French region, each of which is paired with a fine local wine. The menus have been adapted to make sure diners get the best local seasonal produce, whilst at the same time, ensuring each dish speaks to the region you’ll be ‘visiting’. Paris (mais bien sûr!) is the first stop on Societi’s tour, where you’ll be treated to traditional French onion soup (Gratinée des Halles), braised pork belly (Pot-au-Feu) and crisp choux pastry (Paris-Brest), paired with a Joubert-Tradauw Syrah.
