As the leader in the compact hatch class, the new Golf intends to democratise technology and bring innovation and premium quality into the segment. It offers as standard a number of features that are currently only available in premium/expensive cars such as XDS differential lock, light assist and a multi collision braking system. What do customers want from a car today? Customers want cars that are affordable and reliable, offering good value for money in terms of resale and standard features. They also want cars that complement their personality and lifestyle. What makes seventh generation Golf stand out from its predecessors? Excellent fuel consumption, thanks to the refined engine and reduced body weight (up to 100kg dependent on the engine); its premium quality; improved ergonomics offer more comfortable seating; class leading driving dynamics and lastly the iconic and timeless design still make it unmistakably Golf.
