Add design to your diary

For the third consecutive year, 100% Design South Africa will showcase the cream of the crop when it comes to local and international design and designers. This not-to-be-missed exhibition will take place from Friday 5 to Tuesday 9 August 2016 alongside Decorex Joburg, but in a separate hall at the Gallagher Convention Centre.

open to all

Love design? The country’s only local and international design show is open to both trade professionals and members of the public, so come see examples of awe-inspiring furniture, ceramics, textiles and more for yourself. 100design1

you can look forward to

Look out for categories like Interior, Furniture, Product and Lighting Design, Workplace, Textiles and Materials, Jewellery and Accessories, Graphic Design, and Art and Photography. New attractions, like 100% Concrete with PPC, 100% Supermarket and 100% Colour in association with Plascon and House and Leisure, promise to astound and entertain, while visitors can also look forward to show favourites like the 100 Beautiful Things exhibition (featuring 100 carefully selected, artfully displayed South African product designs). Dedicated exhibition spaces have been allocated for displays like 100% Hotel by Tonic and 100% Office by InHouse Brand Architects, with Dokter and Misses’s Afro-modern designs taking the limelight as the Featured Design House for 2016. Future design leaders are not forgotten – a dedicated pavilion called 100% Talent will give them a much-needed platform. 100design2

for a good cause

Ceramics from Cape Town studio Art in The Forest will also be for sale at 100% Design South Africa, with the profits going towards funding clay workshops for children at risk through the Light from Africa foundation, founded in 2004. 100design3
