We’re long-time admirers of EDUN, the ready-to-wear sustainable fashion and accessories brand with an ethically centered mission. With a focus on sourcing production and encouraging trade in Africa, EDUN mixes its modern designer vision with the richness and positivity of the fast-growing African continent.
Sustainable fashion brand EDUN opens a pop-up store in Cape Town
EDUN builds long-term, sustainable growth opportunities by partnering with artisans, manufacturers and community-based initiatives to develop exclusive high-end products that embrace positivity and authenticity. So it makes sense that the brand recently opened the doors to its first retail pop-up shop on the African continent in collaboration with Wild Olive African Artisans, the apothecary and perfumery that’s located on Pepper Street in the Mother City.
Open until 16 March, the pop-up features a special selection of EDUN ready-to-wear merchandise and handbags alongside Wild Olive Artisans’ own organic products. Having previously collaborated on exclusive, handcrafted candles – in a bespoke fragrance named Cederberg – this pop-up is the natural next step for EDUN and Wild Olive to promote their African and ethically crafted high-end collections.
Showcasing the EDUN brand in South Africa
We’re also huge fans of these gorgeous photographs, which showcase the brand’s latest offering, and were shot in Durban by Kristin-Lee Moolman with styling by Bee Diamondhead. To see more of these visit www.edun.com.
The Edun x Wild Olive African Artisans pop-up shop is on until 16 March 2018 at 29 Pepper Street, Cape Town.
