Living Frames

With green living currently in the spotlight, everyone is looking for ways to bring vegetation to their urban space. One of the most popular ways to do this is by installing a hanging garden which adds both greenery and instant appeal. However, there are now several new and fun ways to bring the greenery indoors, as these living frames from The Garden Canvas demonstrate. They've centred their business on creating unique plant decor and incorporating sustainable plant life into both the indoors and outdoors. Their range comprises terrariums, various beautiful plant gift ideas, and these lovely living frames. They've chosen succulents as their trademark plants as they are not only indigenous, but also low maintenance and water-efficient. Tessa Fraser is the brains behind the outfit and she is creating some amazing table decor, bouquets and other living artworks with her talent. The living frames are priced from R350 for a 10x10cm frame. They're available at the Green Living store at  Wellness Warehouse in Kloof Street and at the Bay Harbour Market in Hout Bay (both in Cape Town). For more information or to order your own, email
