The Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens are hosting their 39th annual plant fair on Saturday 12 April from 9am until 4pm and on Sunday 13 April 2014 from 9am until 1pm.
This two-day event celebrates and promotes the conservation of indigenous plants through horticulture. Growers of a large commercial nature, as well as amateur enthusiasts are invited to participate with a unique opportunity to introduce unusual plant species to the public.
This wonderful family outing, which will provide plenty of good food and entertainment, will have a strong ‘Green’ theme. Conservation and education will be a key factor in this year’s exhibit.
Entrance is only R10 per person. Booking is not necessary.
The plant fair will be at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens at Stone Cottages, cnr Kirstenbosch & Rhodes Drive, Cape Town. For more information about the plant fair visit sanbi.org.
