Restaurant Week South Africa

The first South African Restaurant Week, organised by DiningCity South Africa, will take place from Thursday, 24 October to Sunday, 3 November 2013. Restaurant Week is a worldwide culinary event aimed at making top-quality cuisine available at affordable prices. During the week you will have the opportunity to enjoy set-menus at discounted prices at a variety of top restaurants. A two-course lunch will cost only R95 and a three-course dinner will cost R175. Restaurants with a DiningCity star charge an additional R50. Various restaurants across the country will participate including the Planet Bar at the Mount Nelson Hotel, Bosman’s, Buitenverwachting, Catharina’s, Reuben’s and Bread & Wine at Le Quartier Français. New restaurants sign up on a daily basis and a list of participating restaurants will regularly be updated on the website. Both guests and critics will be involved in rating restaurants and at the end of the week the top rated restaurants will receive certificates of excellence. There are a limited number of tables available at each restaurant and bookings will open online on 7 October 2013, and on 1 October 2013 for VIP members, including HL readers! Take advantage of this exclusive special offer by following this link and using the password 'restaurant'.
