ingredients
⅓ cup soy sauce
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup honey
2 star anise
1 cinnamon stick
3cm piece of ginger, grated
1t chilli flakes
4 garlic cloves, crushed
2 spring onions, chopped
1 cup beef stock
fresh lime juice, to taste
method
Bring all the ingredients to the boil in a saucepan, then reduce the heat and simmer until the liquid has reduced by half. Serve
it warm. MAKES 1–2 CUPS
