Indulge in this Winter Menu


The Mondiall Kitchen and Bar at the V&A Waterfront has a new Executive Chef, Riaan Burger, and a delicious new menu, that launched last month. insitu With its cosy new fireplace, comfortable lounge chairs and fibre optic WiFi, it's the place for locals and visitors to spend lazy lunch breaks, work meetings or to catch up with friends and family while eating a scrumptious meal. The new menu includes interesting international flavours based on Chef Riaan's experiences abroad, but does not stray from the restaurant's original brasserie-style dining experience. Some of his signature dishes include Steak Tartare with matchstick fries and endive, French Onion Soup - deep roasted onions in a rich beef broth with gruyere croute & chives, and Pasture Raised Farm Coq au Vin that is red wine braised chicken, shallots and mushroom with a side of cauliflower mash, all are perfect for the cooler weather. But for those who adore Mondiall's regular dishes such as their Wagyu Cheeseburger and Game Fish Tacos, fear not! They will be staying on the menu. Chef Riaan said he aims to ‘make Mondiall a household name and a local go-to restaurant, where guests can expect a warm welcoming atmosphere in a relaxed yet sophisticated setting.
