My Darling Cocktail Recipe

With sunshine comes the urge to spend more time outdoors and to indulge in delicious, fruity cocktails. Vodka brand Grey Goose is already getting into the mood with their tantalising range of 2012 Spring cocktails. Also responsible for other unique summery cocktail mixes - like the equally moreish August Dawn cocktail - Grey Goose mixologist Kevin Snyman clearly has a knack for coming up with unforgettable combinations. Explaining the origins of My Darling, he says, 'I got the name for this cocktail from the beautiful orange daisies that pop up in abundance in the darling region of the Western Cape'. In this drink, fresh kumquats are pressed with brown sugar, topped with Grey Goose and crushed ice, then finished off with a drizzle of orange cognac and garnished with kumquats.
