If you’ve been looking for an excuse to head to the winelands, you’ll be happy to know that Kamers Vol Geskenke will be in Stellenbosch from 5 to 10 November 2013 and promises to be bigger and better than ever. This year the picturesque Webersburg Wine Estate plays hosts to the market, where you’ll be able to browse over 140 stores, sample and buy various gourmet food, shop for everything from designer clothing and jewellery to ceramics and soft furnishings as well as splurge on decor accessories and garden gear. Market goers will also be treated to live music by Lonesome Dave Ferguson, Sannie Fox and The Ride (Lucy Kruger, Andre Leo and Lucas Swart) as well as delicious wine tastings throughout the event. A must-see is pop-up restaurant, The Flying Boar, which will be run by Chef Wynand van Rooyen. They’ll be open from 9am until 8pm on Friday 8 November and from 9am until 6pm every other day. Tickets cost R50 and are available via computicket.co.za or at the door. Two-day passes are available for R80. For those who live further north, be sure to save the date for the Pretoria event, taking place in Irene from 3 to 8 December 2013.
