Durbanville Hills


The scenic views of Table Mountain, Table Bay, the rolling hills and adjoining vineyards at Durbanville Hills Wines offer a welcome escape for a delectable picnic treat. Slip off your sandals and stretch-out under the olive grove with the beautiful bespoke throws and comfy pillows that come standard with each picnic booked.

The hand-woven wicker basket includes a bottle of Durbanville Hills Merlot Rosé, a selection of bread and pâté with homemade chutney, sticky BBQ chicken breasts, tomato and fresh herb salsa with a sweet chili yogurt dressing, caramelised onion vegetable and brie quiche, sesame beef salad with pine nuts, honey mustard dressing and parmesan shavings, marinated olives, local cheeses and preserves, sweet treats and biscotti to end.

Picnic-hamper

The kids can tuck into the '5 Ants' picnic which includes yummy treats such as chicken sosaties, pizza lollipops, cocktail tomatos, carrot and cucumber sticks, biscuits, marshmallows and fruit juice before shedding some energy on the free-form jungle gym.

The picnics are available from now until April 2015 at R310 per basket which is ample for two people sharing. The kids’ picnic is charged at R80 each. Bookings are required at least 48 hours in advance during the week and for weekend picnics, please book on the Friday by 12:00.
