A sheer culinary delight is the only way to describe the fresh summer menu so thoughtfully created by Louisa Greeff, head chef of the Durbanville Hills Restaurant. Her widely admired flair for combining unusual flavours and textures stood her in good stead in pairing her dishes with Durbanville Hills’ award-winning wines. Some of the highlights on the new menu are roasted duck salad with brie, cranberries and a rooibos vinaigrette served with chilled Durbanville Hills Pinotage; grilled venison loin with a twice-baked pecan nut soufflé served with Durbanville Hills Shiraz; and spiced- orange crème caramel with a peach and apricot brunoise served with the Rhinofields Noble Late Harvest. The five-course meal paired with Durbanville Hills’ range of wines costs R325 per person and is available for lunch from Tuesdays to Sundays and for dinner on Friday evenings. To ensure a seamless and exceptional experience, bookings are required 24 hours in advance and the entire party needs to order the food and wine pairing option. Bookings can be made on firstname.lastname@example.org or 021 558 1300. Durbanville Hills is one of the sponsors for our House and Leisure Alfresco picnic event. Find out more here.
