DStv's Delicious Festival

On Saturday 31 May 2014 Joburg’s Emmarentia Dam will host the second (and highly anticipated) DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival. The event promises to be a lavish feast of entertainment with British jazz pioneers the Brand New Heavies and Incognito, as well as club favourites Soul II Soul headlining the event. Local artists include Goldfish, Jeremy Loops and Soul Candi (featuring DJs Harael Salkow, Lulo Café, Ricardo da Costa, DJ Kent, Euphonik and Household Funk). In addition to the epic musical line-up, the family-friendly event will also feature an extensive artisan food market, a MasterChef SA Kitchen and a handful of cooking demonstrations and pop-up restaurants hosted by renowned local chefs Jenny Morris and Siba Mtongana; and BBC Lifestyle’s Rachel Khoo. Kiddies will be kept entertained in the children’s area hosted by DStv, which will include an Adventure Island castle, a Spartacus live show and meet and greet, baking and putt-putt with Nickelodeon and Boomerang characters. General admission costs R450 and tickets can be purchased via computicket.com. Children under 12 will pay R100 and toddlers (under three) enter for free. A restricted number of VIP tickets are available at R850 each. For more information, visit facebook.com/DeliciousFestivalSA.
