From Monday 10 September until Friday 14 September, South African National Parks (SANParks) in partnership with Total South Africa and FNB once again invites South Africans to heed the call to visit a national park for free and experience what the parks and life on the wild side have to offer. Hilton Arts Festival
The Hilton Arts Festival is the largest theatrical event of its kind in KwaZulu-Natal. The festival brings the pick of South Africa’s high-quality performing arts to the province. uShaka Marine World Chess Carnival 2018
uShaka Marine World is hosting its Annual World Chess Carnival in partnership with the KZN Chess Academy. Dress code on the day is strictly black and white for the participants. A R50 registration fee is payable on the day and registration takes place between 8am and 9.30am. The carnival is free for spectators.
Beaten But Not Broken

JPO Early Spring Season – Vitaly Pisarenko
The Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra presents its annual World Symphony Series 2018 Early Spring Season. Each week’s concert features a different conductor and soloist. This week’s conductor is Perry So and the soloist is Vitaly Pisarenko (piano).
Nik Rabinowitz in Fortyfied
Stand-up comedian Nik Rabinowitz has just turned 40 and is on the verge of a midlife crisis. Except that apparently 40 is the new 30, so now he’s not sure when to have the crisis, which is a crisis in itself. In the meantime, while he’s figuring all this out, he’s decided that instead of buying a Ferrari and abandoning his family, he’s going to put on a new one-man show, Fortyfied.
