Themes – Group Exhibition

Jim and Friends
The Centre for Jazz and Popular Music at University of KwaZulu-Natal proudly presents a performance by guitarist Jim Gorissen and friends from the Netherlands. Gorissen’s multitalent is illustrated by his activities in various fields such as Salsa and Latin, Swing and Jazz, Rock and Pop.
Alliance Francaise of Durban has been showcasing remarkable movies through the month of August. This week you can watch Zulu Love Letter (Lettre d’amour Zoulou), a French film that explores complex memory, full of the pain and anger of a fresh post-apartheid South Africa.
Matthew Mole – Marriott Ballito Beats
The Marriott Ballito Beats Series is a brand-new music series based at Sugar Rush Park in Ballito, aimed at providing the people of Ballito and its surrounds with yet another benefit to the brilliant lifestyle that the area has to offer. This week you can see Matthew Mole perform.
Tour de Castle
Take the little ones out for an active Saturday at Tour de Castle, a bicycle race being held at Curro Mount Richmore. Children from 3-6 years old can bring their bicycles, helmets and join in the fun. There will be an age-appropriate bike track set up on the field with marshals to guide and help them.
Nedbank Cape Winemakers Guild Auction Showcase
The Nedbank Cape Winemakers Guild Auction Showcase is an informal (walk-around) tasting of the 2018 Nedbank CWG Auction wines presented by the members of the Guild. Past auction wines and flagship wines from Guild Members are also available for tasting.
