‘Whimsical Waves’ Exhibition

Ceramicist Tiffany Wallace will be showcasing her range of figurative utilitarian ware at Art in the Forest gallery in September. Tiffany’s influences and inspirations range from time spent abroad in Northern India and the USA to her love of South Africa and her admiration for local artists such as Eugene Hön, Suzette Munnik, Clementina van der Walt and Christopher Smart. Tiffany attempts to combine function with sculpture and tries to make sure that her pieces are ‘light, quirky and humorous’. To view Tiffany’s work, visit Art In The Forest, Constantia Nek, Cape Town from 7 September 2013. The gallery is open from 9am until 4:30pm Monday to Friday and on Saturdays from 10am until 3pm. For more information, contact Art In The Forest on 021-794-0291. Alternatively, visit their Facebook page for further details. Text Lindi Brownell Meiring
