Protect and Enhance Timber Flooring

In keeping with the growing popularity of timber floors and natural finishes such as oils that bring out the beauty of the wood while protecting it, Zimbos Flooring Solutions introduced a new finish called Invisible Protect. This natural product by German company Loba retains the raw, unfinished appearance of a timber floor and more importantly, won’t change the colour of wood at all.

In addition, Invisible Protect is extremely durable and hard-wearing, so that you can use it in high-traffic areas such as passages and kitchens too. It is easy to apply and two coats are all you need.

Should you want to change the colour of a floor, Zimbos’ natural colouring system of oils and and varnishes makes it possible to stain oak floors to almost any colour you like. They can even brush and smoke oak to enhance the grain and bring out the natural tones before installing a floor, which cuts down the installation period considerably.

To further improve the feel of a solid wood floor, Zimbos glues down their timber floors to do away with the hollow sound normally created by a floating floor. It can even be installed on tiles, screed and plywood.
