Pink might be a colour easily dismissed, but a new exhibition on at Chandler House brings it into the spotlight. Running at Chandler House over December 2015 and January 2016, Pink seeks to highlight this colour’s impact on our society through a group show.
Artists like Cathy Layzell, Lucie de Moyencourt, Michael Taylor, Daniella Mooney, Patricia Fraser and Sanell Aggenbach give their interpretation through a series of paintings adorning the walls of The Voorkamer Gallery at Chandler House.
Expect to see abstract still lifes full of pink hues, landscapes alive with thriving corals, salmons and roses, not to mention plenty of references to our own fleshy tones.
You’ll find The Voorkamer Gallery at Chandler House at 53 Church Street, Cape Town. Pop in for a look at the artwork and then settle down for a coffee and something delicious at Guilios Café.
