The South African king of wallpaper design, Robin Sprong, has pinpointed two trends in this field for the coming year. He sees a movement towards wallpaper that pays homage to nature with tropical leaves, botanical prints, birds and garden references as well as a surge in the popularity of painterly wall coverings, particularly those that feature a soft water colour aesthetic.
