Cape Town-based textile designer, Kate Mason Collection, has launched a brand new summer range of cushions inspired by the ocean.
The Beach House range features the bold, eclectic patterns of her previous ranges with a summery twist. With a strong focus on updated African Shwe Shwe prints and bright, cheerful colour, Kate’s cushions are locally produced and are of exceptional quality.
Her beachy range offers a move away from the typical nautical stripes and yacht ropes, favouring instead more subtle and suggestive ocean elements. “When I look at these fabrics, I think of octopus tentacles, colourful fish and sea bubbles,” she says, showcasing a refreshing change from the winter colours adorning your sofa.
Lined with 100% cotton and piping for durability and quality, all her fabrics have been pre-shrunk and have a double-stitched zip.
If, like us, you’re longing for those endless summer days, get yourself a few of these lovely cushions in the meantime to carry you through spring.
