Woodbender’s latest design – to be released at Decorex in August this year – is a fusion of skillful functionality and hand-hewn beauty. The Morris Chair takes its inspiration from the time-honoured technique of bentwood design whilst looking forward with contemporary lines and outdoor appeal. As with all of Woodbender’s products, the chair is made from solid ash timber, a hardwood sourced from managed forests and is available in an array of finishes. With an adjustable back and traditional bentwood details, it’s a return to a past classic that pays tribute to the highly skilled craft of wood bending. The Morris Chair responds to the current trend for natural wood finishes and will form the cornerstone of Woodbender’s up and coming range of outdoor furniture. Watch this space. The Morris Chair retails at R4 300 excluding fabric as clients have the option of selecting their own. You can purchase directly from their factory at 6 Van Zyl St, Strand, Western Cape. For more information, call them on 0860–103–647 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
