Blessing Ngobeni Exhibition

South African artist Blessing Ngobeni’s latest exhibition reflects on South African life and politics. Blessing’s surrealist paintings often contrasts South Africa’s political elite with the everyday life of civilians. Mandy de Waal compares his artistic style to the paintings of Spanish surrealist Miró. Blessing makes use of mixed media as a means of expression and the majority of his works are done on paper. The ‘In his state of madness’ exhibition opens on 10 April 2014 from 6:30pm until 19 May 2014 at Gallery MOMO, 52 7th Avenue, Parktown North, Johannesburg.
