The Wild Hotel in Mykonos is Picturesque Perfection
Located in a natural amphitheatre on the tip of Mykonos in Greece, The Wild Hotel combines authentic Greek culture with a luxurious laidback aesthetic.
Inspired by the pure, raw beauty of its cliffside location on the tip of Mykonos, The Wild Hotel is a tranquil retreat that celebrates its picturesque setting and rich Cycladic heritage. Named after 'the wild ones' – the fierce, brave fishermen who used to inhabit a nearby historic village on Kalafati beach that is now a scenic port – the hotel combines authentic Greek culture with a luxurious, laidback aesthetic in a design-forward property infused with Instagram-worthy appeal.

The Wild Hotel was designed by Alexandros and Filippos Varveris and Sofia and Matina Karavas, who are also co-owners and architects of the project. Their experience in structural design is immediately apparent in the hotel's 40 suites and villas, each of which feature colours and elements reminiscent of traditional Grecian architecture. Smooth white walls and floors contrast with tactile natural materials and exposed wooden beams in pared-back interiors that encourage contemplative relaxation.
Thanks to its position in a natural amphitheatre, The Wild Hotel includes an idyllic infinity pool with views across the Aegean Sea, as well as a private beach for all guests.
There's also an on-site restaurant, which is nostalgically fashioned after an authentic Greek taverna. Aptly named The Taverna, here, guests are treated to the best local produce that the area has to offer, with dishes ranging from moussaka and fresh fish to dolmades, stuffed tomatoes and patates lemonates.
The opening of The Wild Hotel coincides with the launch of its sister establishment Ftelia Beach Club, which is situated on the opposite side of Mykonos in Ftelia Bay.
With an aesthetic inspired by the resorts of Southern France and coastal Italy that rose to prominence in the 1960s and 1970s, Ftelia Beach Club merges its natural beachfront setting with the designs of up-and-coming Italian architect Fabrizio Casiraghi.
