From Paris with Love

I arrived in Paris during the transition between summer and autumn 2015. I was drawn to the city with its deep-rooted, established history in the arts. I walk the streets of Paris a lot and en route I have started to add detail to my mental map of the Paris by finding and marking the little treasures I find. Paris' 20 arrondissements (districts) layout makes the exploring this city even more interesting. Each district has its own atmosphere and character. paris2600 Appreciation and respect for the arts is palpable too. All Paris’ splendor and detail; the architecture and urban design that has created friendly public spaces; allows a palette for artists and creatives. I have come to realise that Paris becomes part of your identity, it enriches your soul and shifts your thinking, it becomes a state of being that moves with you, just as Hemingway famously described Paris as a moveable feast. Here are a couple of my favourite spots in and around the City of Lights:
