A number of photographs capturing South African cities during lockdown have been widely shared on social media. These photos give us a fresh perspective on our cities by capturing them stripped down, without their usual hustle and bustle. As we self-isolate to flatten the curve in the battle against COVID-19, these images are a testament to South Africa’s commitment to protecting our most vulnerable citizens.

We hope that the below images inspire you and give you a new love and appreciation for our cityscapes.
