Kirstenbosch Summer Concerts 2019 Line Up Announced
Pack a picnic basket and prepare to dance at the much-anticipated Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts 2019 from November this year until April 2020.
Celebrating 28 years of bringing local and international musical talent to summer, Kirstenbosch Summer Concerts has become a staple for locals and internationals alike during the summer months in Cape Town.
The 2019 season of the hugely popular Kirsten Summer Concerts will begin on 24 November and this year promises a stellar line up of local favourites, renowned international acts including talented cellist, Yo-Yo Ma and some new South African talent.
Crimson House wil kick of this year's season with the launch of their Bounceology album on the 24th of November. Other headliners such Goldfish, Jimmy Nevis, Jeremy Loops, Matthew Mole and more will be returning on the Kirstenbosch Summer Concerts stage this year. Hip-Hop sensation AKA will be performing for the first time at the Kirstenbosch Summer Concerts.
To help ring in 2020, Freshlyground will be performing for the last time as a band in a not-to-be-missed New Year's Eve performance.

As a family-friendly event, this is the ideal summer outing to bring the kids along, as the whole family can enjoy a homemade picnic basket and Cape Town's festive summer season. Picnic baskets can also be pre-ordered 5 days in advance from the Kirstenbosch Tea Room or Moyo Restaurant Kirstenbosch.
Refreshements will be available during the musical performance and Moyo's Food truck will be serving up freshly made burgers, boerie rolls, chipstix and more.
Tickets for the Kirstenbosch Summer Concerts 2019 can be purchased from Webtickets and range from R170 - R220 per person.
All concerts will take place, irrespective of the rain, and patrons are advised to pack a light jersey or raincoat in case of an infamous Cape Town weather change.
