Kate Moss does Interior
Supermodel Kate Moss is trying her hand at interior design, teaming up with architecture and design company yoo.
Her first project – a five-bedroom home in The Cotswolds dubbed The Barnhouse – was unveiled this September.
Open spaces feature earthy colours with a touch of elegance and glamour.
'We have created a luxurious haven in the woods, a perfect place to escape with family and friends,' says Moss in a press release.
Working closely with John Hitchcox, chairman of yoo, Moss was able to retain the feeling of a comfortable family home, while injecting some opulent features into the space.
The plot is set in a wooded area, making it feel private and exclusive, in spite of being set within The Lakes, a luxury second-home development in The Cotswolds.
Moss enlisted the help of some talented craftsman, including David Haddock, who built her personal dressing room in her London home.
Expect handcrafted furniture, including a dining table, four-posted stainless steel box bed, and a TV cabinet featuring a silver thunderbolt a la David Bowie.
Moss has also chosen artworks by Allen Jones, Chris Levine, Damien Hirst, and Mit Senoj, as well her own collaborations with Jake and Dinos Chapman and Chris Allen.
