The Top 5 Wine Events On Our Radar
1. Swartland Street Market
This month, the Bill&Co Swartland Street Market in Malmesbury is in full swing. Born out of a love of wine, food and community, the urban venue was created to share a Swartland experience with the whole family.
Held in a beautifully restored building that dates back to the 1840s, the market happens every second Saturday and aims to celebrate the farmers, winemakers, bakers and entrepreneurs of the Swartland. Peruse organic produce, delicious preserves and interesting crafts – plus, there is a playground to keep the little ones entertained, live music to set the mood, and plenty of good food and wine to enjoy.
The building also has a wine bar, wine shop, and bakery and kitchen run by Marvel Bistro and Bakery.
2. Winter of Wander at Durbanville Hills
Durbanville Hills is hosting a series of food and wine events that explore cuisines from around the world. This show is a great way to keep up to date with SA’s current wines of distinction and meet the trophy-winning winemakers too, making it one of our favourite annual wine events.
