After gaining further experience in the US, Going was appointed as head chef at a bakery in Miami from 2016 to 2018. The ethos of the store in Miami, which was focused on healthy baking, inspired Going to return to Cape Town and share her love for these nutritional treats with South Africans.
'I truly believe you don't have to sacrifice treats to live a healthy lifestyle,' says Going.
As an innovative baker, Going has introduced the concept of Cake Proats, made using protein oats at the bakery and protein hot chocolate.
Other indulgent treats include protein bonbons, soft baked chocolate-chip cookies, strawberry cheesecake, red velvet cupcakes and more.
Guiltless Protein Bakery provides details on the nutrional value of each mouthwatering sweet treat on offer. Prices vary per item with cupcakes starting at R25.
