Blum Legrabox Free

HL chatted to Elwyn Sykes, national sales manager at Eclipse, about the launch of Blum’s Legrabox Free drawer system that has just hit the South African market.

What makes Legrabox Free unique?

Not only is the Legrabox a sophisticated and sleek storage system for your home, but it's free-design concept also allows you to uniquely customise the look and feel of furniture and cupboard systems throughout your home. It allows your imagination to run wild as it transforms any and every piece of furniture with drawers or built-in cupboard systems into something special that expresses your individuality.

The system features a smart combination of BLUMOTION, SERVO-DRIVE and TIP-ON technologies which makes functionality so light and easy that the handless drawers seem open, move and close by themselves.

Legrabox Free is particularly well suited for the Space Tower larder unit. Using glass design elements gives you a convenient clear view and easy access into the pull-outs for the quick location of the items that you want. The front can allow for a shorter design element improving visibility and providing even easier access.  The Space Tower can be retrofitted into an existing cabinet by a credited Blum installer.

Is the Legrabox customisable?

It’s entirely up to you to choose the materials used for the side and/or front panels, which provide large design elements that create effective accents from the kitchen to living areas, and bedrooms to studies. Different woods can be used to create beautifully warm, natural and textured appearances; Perspex and glass are used to fabulous effect, lightening and refining the form of cupboards and furniture pieces.  Even stone and leather can be used to create distinctive, trendy and novel looks.

Legrabox free, available in Orion Grey, will be introduced at Grand Designs Live in Johannesburg.  Home lovers can visit the Eclipse stand at the Coca Cola Dome from the 29th to the 31st of May.
