Artistic Collaboration: Mobelli and Living Artists Emporium Partner Up
Your decision to buy a particular piece of furniture for you home is greatly influenced by how it is presented in a store or showroom. This is something that Mobelli Furniture + Living understands well. As a result, they have embarked on a partnership with Living Artists Emporium (LAE) to elevate the showroom of their flagship store in Cape Town by incorporating original contemporary artwork into the space.
For Mobelli co-founder Alon Sachs, the collaboration not only brings beautiful furniture and contemporary art together, much like the trend used in the fashion industry, it gives customers the opportunity to shop the look when walking into the showroom.
'We are so excited to be embarking on a new venture with LAE. This partnership forms part of Mobelli’s ongoing pursuit to bring a curated furniture shopping experience to South Africans by pairing together furniture, lighting, art and accessories, and ultimately making the shopping experience easier and fun for our clients,' shares Sachs.
For LAE, the collaboration, allows them to showcase emerging artists to potential buyers.
'This collaboration with Mobelli is consistent with LAE’s emphasis on strong creative and strategic interactions, where interiors meet art. We are developing the stars of tomorrow and the footprint with Mobelli is a fresh approach to give our clients the opportunity to invest in the early stages of an artist’s career. The interactive set-up with Mobelli is designed to bring emerging art to the market, meet customer needs and is in line with our philosophy breaking the rules of art,' says LAE founder, Eric Botha.
Mobelli's Cape Town showroom is the first to showcase the contemporary artworks, but there are plans to roll this out to the the rest of the store around the country. Visit mobelli.co.za for showroom details.
