Apple Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:
- 1½ cups apple cider or apple juice
- 1 cup low-fat yoghurt (vanilla, plain or apple)
- ¼ cup almond milk (optional – skip this if you want a thicker smoothie, or use 1t almond-milk powder)
- 1 medium, ripe banana, sliced (previously frozen is great, but not required)
- 1t cinnamon
- ½t vanilla extract
- Pinch of nutmeg
- Brown sugar or sweetener, to taste
- 2 cups ice (optional; add as necessary)
