Stack and pack this stylish stool…

South African born designer Ryan Frank is known for his edgy ‘free-range’ furniture. While he lives and works between London and Barcelona, his designs reflect a strong African influence, and both his aesthetic and his focus on sustainability have won him countless international awards.

We love his ‘Enzo’ totem pole style stacking stool. A derivative of his original ‘Isabella’ stool, this is a slightly more rugged version, that isn’t covered in felt. In line with Ryan’s constant ethos of sustainability, the chair is constructed from a solid section of spruce wood, which is a certified European softwood sourced from managed forests, and is ideal for heavy-duty usage. The fun and functional stools can be stacked on top of each other when not in use, creating a totem pole structure. ‘Enzo’ is available in a selection of natural wood stains, boasting a range of bold and earthy colours.

Unfortunately, Ryan’s stools are currently not available in South Africa, but we never miss an opportunity to showcase a design from local talent, wherever they may be in the world!
