It’s hard to believe we’re this close to 2015 already, yet Plascon – being the colour pioneers that they are – have come up with next year’s Colour Forecast to get your prepped and inspired.
Next year, according to Plascon, is all about embracing a sense of freedom and looking to the future with optimism and positivity. Their colour trends range from muted neutrals to earthy greens and bright, vivid tones. Have a look at their forecast here:
Inspired by sunsets and sunrises over cityscapes, this range of ethereal colours follows barely-there pastels in milky, multicolour washes. Think layered colour combinations, geometric applications and diffused shades.
These earth-inspired tones are an exploration of organic greens, rugged forests and deep, rich colour. Think weathered treatments, colour blocking, watercolour effects and mottled patterns.
A celebration of excess, these brights are fun, decadent and spirited, with lively tropical colours heightening our senses. Think bold colour blocking and bleeding, playful application, visible brush strokes and plenty of casual mixing and matching.
This range explores a quiet, sophisticated luxury as a backing for simple design. Metallics, deep and dark colours, warm neutrals and marbles complement these dark colours’ tactility and depth. Think contrast walls, duo walls and curated looks.
