Good news for lovers of all things French: Vendange has opened a new store in Illovo Square, Johannesburg, which will showcase the brand’s recently introduced furniture collection as well as its trademark range of culinary and wine accessories. As the company’s ninth boutique store in South Africa, this branch promises to offer an expertly curated selection of customer favourites as well as brand-new decor pieces.
Inspired by the anticipation of the annual vintage (Vendange means ‘the grape harvest’ in French), the collection reflects a rustic Mediterranean theme. If you’re a Vendange regular, you’ll recognise the popular Boutique Vineyards Trudeau cheese and baguette boards – hand-crafted from 100-year-old French oak wine barrels that are used in the red-wine maturation process and produced in Franschhoek. A wide selection of wine and olive oil accessories and assorted rattan baskets is available.
The brand also specialises in locally sourced furniture, chosen for its affordability and versatility, which will enhance any living space. Knowledgeable staff are on hand to assist customers to furnish their spaces according to their design needs and tastes.
The new store is situated below M&A and next to Cornuti – the perfect location for a pop-in after dining at one of Illovo Square’s renowned restaurants.
