The colour terracotta is often associated with outdoor areas, where it is commonly spotted in aged brick or classic garden pots. It is recognised as a deep brown, red tinged hue that can vary in colour depending on how it is made and exposed to light. Terracotta is also a type of glazed or unglazed earthenware (ceramic).
The colour itself is making a comeback this season and we are seeing more varieties of it within the home. It conjures up nomadic desert scenes or images of life in the Mediterranean. We love this new colour for 2017, so we’ve put together a list of shoppable items that will bring this trend into your space this season.
